Maxi Low win coveted Converter of the Year at What Van? 2020 awards

Loughborough based Maxi-Low are delighted to announce that they are Converter of the Year following the 2020 What Van? Awards.

The vehicle converter was recognised for its quality and innovation in commercial vehicle body building after a panel of expert judges with decades of combined experience in the light commercial sector hailed them as an outstanding performer.

James Taylor, Sales Director at Maxi-Low, said: “It’s absolutely amazing to be recognised by our industry for our work here at Maxi Low.

“There’s a real pride and passion in all that we do from concept to completion and we always strive to evolve and improve with every product that we introduce to the market. It’s particularly pleasing for everyone back at our facility in Loughborough, the guys on the shop-floor, through to the designers, operations, sales and back office teams that keep everything going 24:7:365.”

2020 has been a tough year for the automotive industry following the COVID-19 pandemic, but the team at Maxi Low are reporting record growth for November with a strong forward order booking as we head towards 2021.

Commenting on the accolade, founder and Chairman, Ken Crouch, was naturally pleased: “Winning this award is a testament to all that we do day in and day out. 2020 has been a funny year for everyone in industry and it has been tough for us at times.

“However, we have worked hard and showed real resilience to get through and the net result is a healthy order bank heading into the new year with some excellent contract wins and manufacturer partnerships to look forward to. We don’t come to work to win awards but to have our efforts acknowledged is a real boost.”
